Cold Brew Coffee has become a recent favorite in the specialty coffee scene! This method involves steeping coffee grounds in room-temperature or ice-cold water for an extended period, allowing natural sweetness to release, which has been a refreshing discovery for many coffee enthusiasts.
Cold brew coffee is known for its rich body, mild bitterness, and distinct sweetness. A slight fermentation adds complexity, much like a fine brewed wine, allowing for the appreciation of delicate flavors such as chocolate notes, fruity aromas, and floral hints – the primary reasons for its popularity. We've selected coffees with delicious flavor profiles after cold brewing and crafted them into convenient cold brew filter bags for you to enjoy!

**Filter Bag Usage Instructions**
**1. Just Three Steps! Easy Cold Brew Coffee:**
1. Place the coffee filter bag into a clean container.
2. Pour in room-temperature water at the appropriate ratio; for one 15g bag, approximately 250ml of water is recommended.
3. Refrigerate for about 24 hours to obtain delicious cold brew coffee.
For direct consumption, a coffee-to-water ratio of 1:13-1:16 (1g coffee grounds to 13g-15g water) is suggested; for adding milk, use a ratio of about 1:7.
The strength can be adjusted to your preference. The longer the steeping time, the more flavor is released, resulting in a richer taste.
Cold brew coffee also pairs well with milk or plant-based milks like oat milk. If adding milk or ice, it's recommended to use less water during the steeping process.
**2. Filter Bags are Convenient for Hot Brewing Too!**
Use hot water between 90-95°C (avoid using boiling water directly), steep for about 7-8 minutes, and adjust the time based on your desired concentration.
For one 15g bag, approximately 250ml-300ml of water is recommended. After steeping, gently shake the filter bag to ensure even extraction from the center of the grounds, then remove the coffee bag and enjoy.
**Consumption and Storage**
Prepared cold brew coffee can be stored in the refrigerator for several days to a week. By taking a little time to prepare it in advance, you can have several days' worth of coffee ready, which is very economical and time-saving!

**FAQs**
Still have a few questions?
Through years of experience, we've gathered some common questions about cold brew coffee, which we're happy to share with you.
**What kind of beans are suitable for cold brew coffee?**
If you enjoy intense fruit flavors, beans from African regions like Ethiopia and Kenya are excellent choices;
For flavors with notes of berries, chocolate, nuts, and sugar, high-altitude beans from Guatemala, Panama, and Costa Rica are recommended.
If you prefer a rich body with herbal, woody, or tea-like notes, beans from Asian regions such as Indonesia, Taiwan, and Yunnan are very suitable.
There's no single right answer, as it depends on personal flavor preferences. However, higher quality coffee beans often yield more diverse flavors and surprises when cold brewed.
**Does cold brew coffee absolutely need to be chilled for 24 hours?**
24 hours of refrigeration is a suggestion based on our grind size, and you can use it as a reference without feeling pressured.
Between 16 to 24 hours, you can experiment to see if the strength meets your preference. You can also explore how different combinations of "temperature + time" create your favorite taste by varying the initial steeping water temperature.
**Can I use a plastic bottle for steeping instead of a glass bottle?**
Yes, as long as your plastic container is food-grade and doesn't have any strange odors. However, plastic materials are more prone to staining from coffee colors compared to glass.
**I don't have enough space in my refrigerator, can I steep it without refrigeration?**
Yes, during winter, you can even steep it without refrigeration. However, once steeping is complete, it's recommended to consume it as soon as possible. If you can't finish it, refrigerate it.
Generally, higher temperatures release flavors faster. If you steep the coffee grounds at room temperature throughout the process, it's recommended to steep for 10-12 hours initially and test if the flavor strength is sufficient.
**Why are there coffee grounds at the bottom of my cold brew coffee?**
This is because during grinding, there will always be very fine coffee particles, which can pass through the filter bag and settle at the bottom. If you dislike the texture of fine grounds, it's recommended to discard the coffee liquid at the very bottom.
**What kind of water should I use to make cold brew coffee?**
Please use filtered drinking water; mineral water is also acceptable. Avoid using boiled tap water. Since 98% of a cup of coffee is water, please ensure the water quality is fresh and pure!
