Guishan Island, which became a tourist attraction due to whale watching boats in summer, was a community of more than 800 residents 40 years ago. It relied on fishing and peanut planting for their livelihoods. However, in 1977, the government moved residents to the head due to military needs. From now on, Cheng Daxi can only look at his hometown across the sea. The living habits of the original islanders have also taken on a new look due to the Daxi fishing port. We will follow in the footsteps of the locals, visit Guishan Island, Daxi Fishing Port, and pass through the memories of two generations of Guishan Islanders.
In the morning, we will take a boat around the island for a week to appreciate the special geological topography formed by the active volcano of Guishan Island and the beautiful milk sea that reflects the color of the sea. After arriving on the island, we followed the footsteps of our local culture and history teacher and walked along the scenic Guishan Island trail to get to know the life trajectories of the previous people on the island, and we can also look back at Taiwan and see the island where we live from a different angle.

At noon, we return to Daxi Fishing Port where most Guishan Island has moved. We will have lunch at Gonglan Palace, the faith center that migrated from Guishan Island. After the meal, we will be guided by the elderly to the fishing village cultural center that collects old life utensils, and come to challenge dynamic vision.
