Burmese Pagoda Fossilized Tiger-Shaped Bead
From the Bagan region of Mandalay Province, Myanmar.
Excavated from within collapsed pagodas.
These are ancient tiger-shaped beads, symbolizing strength and courage.
The most common materials for tiger beads are agate and local jade, followed by lapis lazuli.
Mineral materials are comparatively rare.
This particular tiger bead is made from fossilized marine organism material, making it extremely rare.
There are 3 available in Taiwan.
Two of them have broken tails and legs...
This is the only one that is the largest, most complete, and has the most beautiful form.
However, it also comes with the highest price!!!
Upon seeing this ancient bead made from fossilized material,
I'm sharing two popular conch fossil dzi beads from mainland China.
The first type is made in recent years using freshwater conch fossils (Figure 10).
Similar to Taiwan's Yue X Dzi beads, these are new beads produced by mainland merchants, not antique beads.
Many online articles in mainland China describe this as a scam...
The second type is ancient beads from Tibet made from fossilized ancient marine organisms (Figure 11).
These fossil beads are also found in India, with some dating back 1-2 thousand years (Figure 12).
***********************************
Ancient beads originally held significant religious protective meanings and purposes.
During challenging times, wearing antique beads for protection can help regulate your energy field and enhance your fortune.
By consistently reciting scriptures, chanting mantras, practicing charity, and releasing captive animals, you will naturally avert misfortune and welcome good fortune.
