Slavic dolls are a traditional textile craft with a history of approximately a thousand years, and they have played a significant role in the life of Slavic people.
Slavic dolls have different uses depending on the method of making. They can be used as toys for children or placed in homes for blessing and protection. They are also commonly used in various ceremonies and celebrations. Nowadays, it is rare to find Slavic dolls in cities, and they can only be found in some places that continue to preserve traditional culture. They are a very precious cultural asset.
The cotton candy sachet doll made in this workshop, Кукла “Кубышка – травница”, is filled with natural herbal plants and has the traditional meaning of blessing and promoting good health.
