The global pandemic has slowed our pace, prompting us to reflect on human development and the strained, yet inseparable, relationship between people and nature. The leopard cat is a critically endangered species in Taiwan, with fewer than 2,000 individuals remaining. Habitat destruction, hunting, and the wildlife trade have contributed to their declining numbers. Today, stable populations are found only in the Miaoli, Taichung, Changhua, and Nantou regions. Upon chance, I saw news about a project to improve conflicts between leopard cats and chicken coops. This inspired me to launch a spring couplet sale and donation campaign. The full proceeds from the sale of the leopard cat spring couplets, after deducting platform fees, will be donated to the Taiwan Leopard Cat Association.
