This teapot boasts a purple-red metallic sheen, a blend of classical and contemporary aesthetics. It pours smoothly and cuts off cleanly, a rare and excellent piece ❤️
I still remember last week's rainy day. Home alone, I casually brewed a pot of tea using another teapot of the same design. Listening to the rain, with the aroma of tea filling the air, I felt that even though life was simple, it was particularly grounded.
A good teapot doesn't just brew tea; it brews a sense of groundedness in life.
Capacity: 200cc
The pouring and cut-off are effortless, neither rushed nor slow, providing a comfortable flow when pouring tea. This is a teapot that can accompany you through life.

The works from Xiao Ping Fan Pottery Studio do not pursue mass production. Each creative product has a unique concept and design, imbuing the process of pure hand-pinching or wheel-throwing with life. Every piece is one of a kind. Our studio's works are created together by my husband and me, hence the signatures "Ping" or "Fan," and some pieces may bear the "Xiao Ping Fan Pottery Studio" seal. They are truly unique!!

**1. What is the origin of the works?**
We primarily use American clay, Japanese clay, and Taiwanese Miaoli clay for our creations.

**2. What is the wood-firing process?**
American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-pinching (not on a pottery wheel) to slowly form the shape. After basic shaping, the body lines are refined, and then polished to complete the greenware.
Once placed in the kiln, the wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood continues for five days and four nights without interruption. The temperature is raised to over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a special ash glaze. Simultaneously, the kiln's flame patterns flow between the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks.
After five days and four nights of ash deposits and flame patterns intertwining, a week of cooling is required to achieve the beautiful form of each piece! Because the kiln atmosphere differs with each wood firing, the ash deposits and flame patterns on each work are never the same, making every piece unique!

**3. What should guests be aware of?**
Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. The works are purely handmade, and production marks from the hand-pinching process will be visible. There may also be slight variations due to the firing process, such as minor imperfections in the rim or small scratches from production, which are normal phenomena. They are absolutely usable, please understand!
