What is the wood-firing process?** American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-pinching (not on a pottery wheel) to slowly form the shape. After basic shaping, the body lines are refined, and then polished to complete the greenware. Once placed in the kiln, the wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood continues for five days and four nights without interruption. The temperature is raised to over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a special ash glaze. Simultaneously, the kiln's flame patterns flow between the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks. After five days and four nights of ash deposits and flame patterns intertwining, a week of cooling is required to achieve the beautiful form of each piece! What should guests be aware of?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. The works are purely handmade, and production marks from the hand-pinching process will be visible. There may also be slight variations due to the firing process, such as minor imperfections in the rim or small scratches from production, which are normal phenomena.
