Inspired by Gustav Klimt's 1912 painting Mäda Primavesi, I reinterpreted the work by combining single and double strands of differently colored threads, much like mixing paint, to create a single palette of impressions. To express the ethereal glow of the girl's dress, I used a white base and combined different colors of pearl yarn, and the various colors reflected in the creamy base were created by mixing ivory, light cream, and lemon pearl yarn. For the main color of the work, purple, I used mohair and lambswool yarn to create the ethereal, multicolored purple of the work.
