We reuse broken or chipped ceramic items, no longer in use, and transform them into accessories with the Kintsugi technique. We've adorned an elegant ceramic fragment, subtly revealing a red floral pattern, with apatite. Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the ceramic piece, allowing the gold to shimmer and add a touch of refinement even from a profile view. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi method. Unlike traditional Kintsugi which uses natural lacquer derived from the sap of the lacquer tree, this process utilizes adhesive for the primary bonding.
