Amethyst sphere wire wrapped pendant. The metal material is antique brass colored artistic copper wire. The overall size (length x width) is 30x18mm. About one to two years ago, I made two rainbow crystal ball pendants. From the moment they were completed until they were both taken, I consistently received many inquiries from customers and friends. I recall that the most common feedback was that the 23mm sphere felt a bit too large. Therefore, for this new version, I specifically sought out slightly smaller crystal balls to create with. Unlike the previous ones, these crystal balls do not have large internal fractures that create rainbows across the entire surface. Each one possesses a unique character, with the interplay of rainbow and fracture reflections weaving their own singular landscapes. However, it's important to note that the rainbows in these types of crystals are caused by internal fractures. When selecting the main stone, the primary consideration was ensuring that no cracks were visible on the surface. Following that, the stone needed to be clear apart from these internal lines. While these characteristics meet the basic functional requirements for wearing jewelry, they are not resistant to heavy drops or pressure. Of course, most natural crystals and minerals are generally not meant to be dropped or crushed heavily anyway 😆. Among the new creations this time, there is only this amethyst. Following the shape of the main stone, I've crafted a 360-degree rotatable wire-wrapped net that allows ample light to pass through, with only simple decorative accents at the bail. As you can see from the photos, this amethyst sphere displays a rich variety of expressions under different light sources and backgrounds. I hope this design allows those who see it to focus more on its unique personality. Crystal balls constantly change under different backgrounds and light angles. The photos capture what I find to be the most striking aspect, but I also highly recommend rotating it at every angle under light. Silver wire will be specified as 925 or 999 silver. ❖ Natural stones may inherently have characteristics such as inclusions, patterns, mineral inclusions, or small flaws from drilling and polishing. ❖ Shipping is by default in simple packaging, including clean protective cushioning and a shipping bag. In terms of oxidation speed, personal experience suggests red copper wire oxidizes faster (turning antique red-bronze in days to weeks), while brass and silver oxidize more slowly. ❖ Wire that has undergone a sulfidation (antiquing) treatment will have a more stable color tone compared to untreated wire. However, polished areas will still naturally oxidize over time. ❖ If you wish to clean oxidized areas, you can generally use a silver polishing cloth or gently scrub with toothpaste, then dry or use a hairdryer on a cool setting. ❖ After wearing, wipe off any moisture with a soft cloth and store it in the provided sealed bag. ❖ Please avoid wearing during activities with heavy sweating, such as exercise, and when bathing in hot springs, as this can accelerate wire oxidation and potentially damage the natural stone. ❖ Jewelry made with unplated wire can be sent back for re-polishing at any time (only return shipping fees will apply). [Natural Stones] ❖ Natural mineral stones may have inclusions, patterns, mineral flaws, or black spots. There may also be minor flaws from drilling or polishing during processing. ❖ The natural stones used in the pieces are mostly semi-precious stones. Some types of stones may have lower hardness (this will be specifically noted).
