Introduction of tinware:
Tin is a precious metal that can purify water, and it is completely non-toxic and harmless to the human body when used. Starting from the most primitive piece of tin material, after casting plates, proofing and cutting, forging various textures and shapes, and finally finishing and polishing, craftsmen endow each tinware with a unique soul appearance through pure and direct manual techniques .
In ancient times, tin was a precious metal with the same value as silver and gold, and was often used in precious utensils and objects. However, due to the advancement of mining technology in modern times, the price of tin is more acceptable than gold and silver.
Cleaning and maintenance of tin utensils:
• Cleaning after normal use can be done with a sponge dipped in dishwashing detergent or soap, but do not use hard cleaning tools such as scouring pads or steel wool for scrubbing, which may leave scratches on the surface.
• Avoid placing tin utensils in places with high temperatures above 140°C and low temperatures of -5°C (such as freezers).
• Please avoid contact with acidic and alkaline chemical substances, which may cause oxidative discoloration.
• In case of oxidation and discoloration caused by accidental contact with acidic and alkaline chemicals, or some small scratches caused by long-term use, you can use the maintenance and cleaning flannelette provided by our studio to wipe and restore the luster.
• If tin products are not used for a long time and exposed to the air, it is normal that they will be slightly oxidized and will not affect the normal function. If you want to store tin products more properly, it is recommended to store them in a cabinet or box when not in use, which can keep them from oxidation for a long time ( If it is slightly oxidized, it can still be restored according to the above maintenance methods).
