We cherish this relaxed, natural look. As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which might look like "fraying" at first glance. These are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery. While we maintain rigorous quality control at the factory and make efforts to avoid these flaws during fabric cutting, and use them in less conspicuous areas if found, they cannot be entirely eliminated due to the nature of the machinery.
