Nanbu tekki tetsubin japanese cast iron kettle Hakeme 1.3L vintage color - Teapots & Teacups - Other Metals Brown

Product Description

This tetsubin reproduces the brush marks made by a brush. This tetsubin produces an vintage look. It represents a beautiful withered color that is not just gorgeous. In Japan, it is called "wabisabi". By raising the circumference of the lid, it has a three-dimensional and modern effect. The inside is not enamel processed. The boiling water will be mellow. Nanbu ironware is baked using the traditional technique called kama-yaki to produce an oxide layer on the surface. It leads to "rust resistance" and "water quality improvement" and makes tea and coffee taste better. The water boiled in Nanbu iron kettle tastes mellow and sweet even when drunk straight. This is due to the effect of iron leaching into the hot water, but in order for the iron to leach out, the inside cannot be enameled or otherwise treated, and rust is liable to occur. The handle can be tipped down, making it easy to fill with water from the faucet, and also to be stored. ※It can be used with IH. Do not use on high heat.
