[Foreword]
"Good Things Abound" concept red envelope, meticulously designed for the Lunar New Year by the "Daolu Ti" typeface and its team of over sixty thousand (oops) people.
Beyond echoing the Year of the Rat's theme of abundance and progeny, it carries a wish for the future, hoping for more good things to happen in everyone's lives.
[Design Philosophy]
Structurally, we observed that many people wish to write blessings on red envelopes but prefer not to reveal the message on the front or back. Thus, we used a different UX approach to innovate the existing style, though it did increase the cost (embarrassing).
Color-wise, inspired by the color trends of Gogoro and Google, we moved away from the primacy of text.
Utilizing a special color printing process, the four color palettes span choices for three generations, satisfying both gifting and personal use.
Layout-wise, only the characters "多多" (Duō Duō - meaning abundance/many) are featured, with no mention of the past year or specific dates like "2020." This ensures the product's versatility across all occasions, avoiding a narrow attribute.
