Journey to the Western Regions Wanderer's Bracelet
-- 【Mirage‧ Loulan】
"In the winds and sands of time, true beauty never fades."
Collecting tales of the Western Journey, expanding the exotic map with broader colors.
Loulan, an ancient kingdom of the Western Regions.
The earliest discoverer of the ancient city was the Swedish explorer Sven Anders Hedin. In early March 1900, Hedin's expedition team followed the dry left riverbed of the Peacock River into the Lop Desert. While crossing a desert in search of a shovel they had accidentally lost the previous night, they found fragments of wooden carvings. Deeply moved, Hedin decided to excavate. In March 1901, Sven Anders Hedin began his excavation. The team discovered a stupa, three halls, architectural components with Greek artistic influences, Wuzhu coins, and a Kharosthi letter, among many other precious artifacts. Later, to the southeast of the ruins, they found numerous beacon towers extending to the western bank of Lop Nur, which eventually led them to the ancient city buried by sand—the ancient city of Loulan.
Loulan culture is the most distinctive and unique historical culture of the Lop Nur region, serving as a quintessential representative of ancient Western Regions culture with an extremely rich heritage. The ancient Loulan Kingdom, documented in texts over 2100 years ago, served as a transit trade hub on the Silk Road between China, Persia, India, Syria, and the Roman Empire. At its peak, Loulan was one of the most open and prosperous capitals in the world. Around 500 AD, the ancient Loulan Kingdom mysteriously vanished from historical records overnight.

The Lore of Magatama and Izumo-style Magatama
Magatama appeared in Japan as early as the Kofun period, over 5000 years ago. The origin of the Izumo-style Magatama dates back to the Yayoi period, 2600 years ago.
The Izumo-style Magatama was discontinued during the Heian period. After being lost for 900 years, it was revived in the Edo period by Ito Sen'u in the Izumo region, who learned and passed down the crafting techniques, allowing the Izumo-style Magatama to be preserved to this day.
The Izumo-style features a unique gentle, rounded, and balanced form, reflecting the aesthetic pursuits of the time. Unlike the beast-fang style, which symbolizes the union of the sun and moon, the embryonic form of the Izumo-style carries the meaning of life's birth in traditional customs, celebrating and blessing all life, passed down through generations.
*Each Japanese Magatama is hand-polished by a gem artisan, making each piece unique. Their shape and size may vary slightly.
*The above refers to the traditional meanings and symbolism of various crystals, agates, and jades, as well as research from ancient Indian color chakra theory. The Equipment Department provides this as basic reference for team members. Our design works focus more on the traveler's personal experiences, spiritual and intuitive needs, and the purest love for color, embodying traditional folk aesthetics with craftsmanship and respect.

【About the Wanderer's Bracelet】
"Life is a journey of wandering, without reason, and without end."
There is a wandering heart in the world—seeking to live freely in one's own way, experiencing the world. Wandering is a way of life, and also a state of mind.
Through various experiences, every wandering soul becomes unique and beautiful. The mission of our new series is to present the spirit and beauty of wandering.
The first item launched in this series is the Wanderer's Bracelet, crafted using traditional knotting techniques with a blend of over ten types of pure cotton threads. Due to the variety of colors, even though each bracelet uses the same colors, the proportion and distribution of colors will differ after the mixed weaving process.
A departure from previous designs, the Wanderer's Bracelet expresses a casual, free-spirited, and nomadic attitude. It is particularly suitable for ethnic, hippie, and bohemian styles, but can also be worn daily. Please consider this before purchasing.
