They describe themselves as a "stamp carving professional" and currently reside in Taiwan, living and working in a charming old apartment in Taipei, dedicated to the art of stamp making. Previously working as an editor for magazines and books at a publishing house, they now focus full-time on stamp design. Each season, they release handmade original creation stamps, with their published collections (volumes 1-8) featuring over 100 unique stamps. Their published books include: "A Handmade Life in 12 Hours a Week," "Rubber Stamps, Open the Door!", and "12 Lessons for Beginner Rubber Stampers: Next Stamp Class." Utilizing erasers as their primary carving material, each stamp is painstakingly created with every cut and line. Their stamp designs often draw inspiration from everyday observations, landscapes and encounters from travels, and things they genuinely cherish (incorporating elements like text, flora, geometry, nature, architecture, etc.). These are then deconstructed and reassembled, with intricate layering of lines and shapes, complemented by minimalist primary and secondary lines, foreign text, and meticulously marked components to construct the final stamp image. They enjoy pairing stamps with colors and orchestrating the individual expression, collaboration, and repetition between stamps of various sizes. Many graphic designs also originate from fragments of stamps, with designs extended through the combination of stamping and pairing (e.g., postcards/washi tape).
