Glass Dip Pen
Each pen is crafted uniquely, showcasing slight variations from the manual firing process.
(For instance, the barrel and nib may not be perfectly straight, the surface might not be entirely smooth, and some textured areas may feel raised or lowered. The ink channels might also vary in spacing.)
A new pen is made only after a previous one is sold. [For orders of two or more, please message us first to view sample photos before purchasing.]
(Recreated pens will always be different.)
The pen you receive will be the one shown in the photos.
Each glass pen possesses its own life and warmth, with distinct grip, writing feel, pattern direction, and length... all entirely unique.
★ This particular pen has a concentration of bubbles near the grip area; please refer to images 2 and 4.
[How to Use]
Dip the nib into ink, about 1/3 to more than half of the ink groove, and begin writing. (Avoid hitting the bottom of the ink bottle.)
Each pen will feel and produce different line thicknesses at various angles.
Some angles may not be suitable for writing; you'll need to discover the angle that best suits your writing style for smooth flow.
After use, simply rinse the nib with clean water. If residual ink is trapped in the crevices after rinsing, you can gently brush it with a soft-bristled toothbrush. Allow it to air dry before storing. Do not drop.
★ Some minor paper scratching is normal during the initial use.
★ Do not pull the protective cap off horizontally in a straight line (this can easily damage the nib).
Instead, twist it off by rotating in opposite directions.
★ Each pen features unique, naturally occurring bubbles or bubble patterns (as seen in images 2 and 5).
★ Please use fountain pen ink.
★ For calligraphy practice, consider choosing a hard-pen copybook.
★ Includes a small bottle of ink (5ml) + a storage box.
(★ As ink (liquid) cannot pass through customs, international shipments will not include ink.)
★ If repairs are needed due to damage, a repair fee will be charged based on the extent of the damage (complete shattering is irreparable).
★ Please do not make assumptions; thank you for your understanding.
★ For all other important details, please read the "Designer's Story" on the right side carefully.
★ The creation period for the artwork is 14 days. International mail delivery may exceed this 14-day period; please refrain from purchasing if this is a concern.
