How could you miss out? * ◆ Artisan Collective: In the 1960s, Dr. Shyam Sharma, along with activists, teachers, and volunteers, initiated sewing and embroidery training programs in New Delhi, the capital of northern India, with the aim of improving the lives of those in poverty. Eventually, production groups of skilled artisans were formed across various regions, expanding the product range and leading to the establishment of the Tara Project, an organization dedicated to selling these groups' creations internationally. In addition to marketing and selling products made by local artisan collectives, we provide training to enhance efficiency and quality for the producers, as well as vocational training for young people.
