A bracelet strung with two types of cursed beads and two or three thousand-year-old medicinal bead ancient beads. 1- One pagoda-shaped cursed bead from a collapsed pagoda in Mandalay, Myanmar. Excavated from within a collapsed pagoda in Mandalay. Estimated to be from the 18th-19th century. A bun-shaped pagoda cursed bead. 2- Two surrounding spacer beads are ancient medicinal beads, estimated to be two to three thousand years old. These types of medicinal beads have been unearthed in India, Bangladesh, Thailand, Myanmar, and elsewhere. They were traded as jewelry in ancient times. 3- Fourteen large-sized cursed beads from a collapsed pagoda in Mandalay, Myanmar. Dating based on the accompanying artifacts excavated with the pagoda. Estimated to be from the 18th-19th century. These are Daron cursed beads in the form of prayer beads with a drilled hole. Made of copper alloy, containing gold, but not in a high proportion. The oxidation layer has been cleaned off. The beads appear yellow and bright in the photos, but will oxidize and darken again if not polished regularly. The largest beads have an average diameter of 1.1-1.2 cm. These prayer bead-style cursed beads were typically found in groups of 108 within pagodas. Due to the humid environment of the pagoda burial, the original cords have long since decomposed and broken. The bracelet is 19.5cm in length with an inner diameter of 16cm. This is a sacred item with unique characteristics and religious blessings. Cinnabar is added during the smelting process when crafting Daron cursed beads. Possessing an extremely strong magnetic field, they are believed to suppress evil spirits and other yin entities. They serve as powerful protective, boundary-setting, and luck-bringing amulets. They are also often used for consecration and creating protective wards. Today, some use them for spiritual practice and meditation. Placing them in a home altar or car can alter the Feng Shui magnetic field.
