This piece is a wooden Kanzashi inspired by Sumo. It is handcrafted from carefully selected Japanese Keyaki, each piece patiently carved and polished by hand to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. The finishing is the traditional Fuki-urushi technique: applying raw Urushi lacquer to the surface and repeatedly wiping it off, layering many coats to create a deep, warm luster. Over time, its color and shine will evolve, growing together with its owner. The design draws inspiration from the strength of Sumo, giving this Kanzashi a unique and powerful presence. It pairs beautifully with both kimono and modern attire, adding a quiet elegance to daily life and enhancing special occasions with dignity.
