[ Fair Trade, Ethical Product ]
This hand-woven shoulder bag is made by the Karen people living in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Cotton threads are naturally dyed, and the bag is carefully finished over a long period through hand-weaving and hand-sewing.
This particular design features a traditional plant pattern, making it an even more intricate piece.
The combination of colors and patterns is left to the weaver's sensibility, making each bag a unique, one-of-a-kind treasure that can only be found at this time.
The gentle orange-brown color is dyed with a tree called "Pradu" in Thai.
The charm lies in the warm hues of natural dyeing and the rich texture unique to hand-woven fabric.
It pairs beautifully with casual styles, feminine dresses, and natural outfits.
Furthermore, its traditional simple design without pockets or zippers is convenient, offering ample storage space despite its appearance.
It's easy to carry lightly and comfortably, with enough capacity for daily use.
When not in use, it can be compactly folded for storage.
As it is made from natural materials, it's also perfect for outings to natural spots like campsites or beaches, and outdoor events.
This one-of-a-kind bag serves as a fashion accent and brightens your mood when worn.
Hand-woven bags filled with the charm of craftsmanship are also recommended as gifts.
Incidentally, the Karen people use this bag to carry things like rice wrapped in banana leaves when they go to work in the fields or herd buffaloes, or to carry chewing tobacco and wallets when they go out.
We hope you will enjoy using it freely, imagining their mountain life.

[Care for Naturally Dyed and Hand-Woven Products]
Naturally dyed products are less resistant to washing and sunlight compared to chemical dyes, and their colors will change with use. Please observe the following precautions when caring for and using them.
Color transfer or fading may occur due to friction or moisture. Please be careful of color transfer when wearing or using light-colored clothing or bags. Using dark-colored clothing or bags together may make color transfer less noticeable. Dark colors, in particular, are prone to fading, so we recommend washing them once before wearing.
When washing, we recommend hand washing separately from other clothes. If using a washing machine, use a neutral detergent, place it in a laundry net, and wash on a gentle cycle separately from other clothes. However, washing in a machine may accelerate fabric damage and color fading. Avoid using a dryer and dry in the shade.
- About Starching.
For fabric products, we may use threads starched with rice paste, but the starch will typically wash out after about two washes.
