Odangopan Korobok Brown

"Kolobok" (The Little Bun) from a Russian folk tale. All the characters that appear in the story are contained inside the round dango bun. (Dumplings, Grandpa, Grandma, Rabbit, Wolf, Bear, Fox) The folk tale tells of a dango bun made by an old man and woman that rolls around and meets a rabbit, a wolf, and a bear, before finally being eaten by a fox. In Japan, there are picture books available with titles such as "Odangopan" and "Korokoropan," so please have fun playing with them while reading them. The dolls were painted using plain wood specially ordered from a Russian factory that makes matryoshka dolls. Gold paint is used as an accent color to make it a little more glamorous. The wood base is oil finished (linseed oil finish). The color will not fade, so feel free to take it out and play with it as much as you like. ●Size Odangopan: Height 9.5cm, Width 9.5cm Doll inside: Height 3-3.5cm, Width 2-2.5cm Materials: Linden, water-based stain, Acrylic paint Regarding handling: *Like nesting matryoshka dolls, the outer spheres fit tightly together. If they get wet, the wood may expand and they may no longer close. Please do not store the top and bottom halves separately. *If it is difficult to open and close, hold it sideways in front of your chest and slowly split it open without twisting it. *This product contains small parts.
