Between New Mexico and Arizona lies the Navajo Nation, a territory with legal rights equivalent to self-governing states. They are Indigenous peoples of the American Southwest and represent the largest Native American tribe and reservation in the United States, with a population of approximately 300,000. Few outsiders and travelers understand this area, let alone spend the night. However, the legendary Antelope Canyon, as well as Monument Valley, the filming location for "Forrest Gump" and classic Westerns, are all within this mysterious reservation. 【About the Artist】Ma-Li Liu An illustrator, graphic designer, and film art director based in East Asia, the American West, and Pingtung, Taiwan. Previously published the zine "Eating Snacks," which was exhibited in a touring illustration exhibition in Taiwan and participated in the Tokyo Artbook Fair. Also held a joint illustration and photography exhibition titled "Frontiers" with an American photographer, documenting road trips in the American West.
