The base smooth leather, unlike other Italian leathers, has less oiling, resulting in a matte finish with a pleasant firmness and lightness. Wax is then applied to create a hazy texture. The sophisticated and vibrant color palette achieved through advanced dyeing techniques presents hues rarely seen in vegetable-tanned leathers dyed with dyes.
