**Gobi Agate**
Gobi Agate, originating from the Gobi Desert in the Alashan League region of Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, China, is also known as Gobi Stone, Gobi Agate, Alashan Agate, Alashan Jade, and Datan Agate. Its exquisite patterns and rich colors have made it a new favorite in the market. Its limited production and extreme rarity give it immense potential for appreciation and artistic value.
Gobi Agate has a hardness of approximately 6.5 to 7, formed between 8 million and 300 million years ago. It is a product of submarine volcanic eruptions and rapid cooling, having endured erosion by seawater, geological changes, weathering, rain, snow, heat, and cold. This process has endowed it with a natural, unadorned, and robust quality, truly a desert gem that embodies the spirit of heaven and earth, bathed in the essence of the sun and moon, capturing the vastness of the Gobi Desert and expressing its bold and magnificent beauty.
Gobi Agate is generally lustrous and smooth. After polishing, its weathered surface becomes fine, smooth, crystal clear, and vibrantly colored. It comes in numerous varieties, with some of the most well-known in the market including:
1. Silver Root: Characterized by multiple spots, round dots, and eye-like patterns, hence its nickname "Silver Root Flower Spot" or "Eye Stone."
2. Banded Agate: Simple colors with clear bands, also known as "Striped Agate" or "Silk Agate."
3. Sugar Heart: Within the translucent to transparent agate skin, a deeper colored "core" can be seen.
4. Milkshake: Diverse and soft tones, resembling an oil painting, named for its milkshake-like appearance.
5. Ice Pattern: Diverse colors with jade-like patterns, also called "Demon Flower," "Exploded Pattern," or "Cracked Pattern."
6. Water Gall: Formed by residual liquid within the core during the agate's formation.
**Agate**
Agate (Agate), also known as "Jade Orb," is primarily composed of silicon dioxide from volcanic eruptions. It is a relatively abundant gemstone in the Earth's crust and is one of the oldest gemstones in history.
After volcanic eruptions, molten silicon dioxide in nature entered the gas pores of volcanic lava or other rock fissures. It deposited layer by layer, forming opaque, semi-transparent, to transparent colors, resulting in what is known as "banded agate" (finely layered ones are even called "silk agate"). Those found in Madagascar with spot-like patterns resembling snowflakes are commonly known as "Cherry Blossom Agate."
Agate is composed of various colors (mineral colors) and may form in concentric circles, wavy patterns, layers, or parallel bands, hence the saying "a thousand kinds of agate, ten thousand kinds of jade."
Agate symbolizes stable energy, which can calm emotions, soothe anxiety, enhance vitality and energy, strengthen personal aura and magnetic field, attract positive energy and good luck, improve fortune, and thus enhance creativity and imagination, bringing a surge of inspiration during the creative process.
Due to its wide range of colors, agate can correspond to the seven chakras of the human body, making it a precious and beautiful gem with both historical value and functionality.
**Turquoise**
Turquoise ranges in color from blue and green to light green and yellow. It is one of the ancient gemstones, revered as a mystical and protective object in ancient Egypt, ancient Mexico, and ancient Persia. Ancient rulers used turquoise to display their divine authority, political power, and wealth.
Externally, the black veins on the surface of turquoise are called "iron lines," formed by iron elements within the turquoise. Thus, each iron line is a unique gift from nature.
Furthermore, turquoise is graded by its "porcelainization" level. The higher the degree of porcelainization, the fewer the iron lines, the more compact the structure, and the rarer the production.

**◈ Care and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess their unique luster and textures (such as tiny black spots, stone patterns, ice cracks, cloudiness, mineral deficiencies, asymmetry, etc.). By wearing them frequently, you can observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones, which often become more translucent and enchanting – this is the best form of maintenance.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral, amber, pearls, and tridacna) have low hardness and are not resistant to acids or alkalis. If they become dirty, avoid washing them with detergents. Simply rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also use a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil) for gentle care.
2. Metal jewelry has a very long lifespan. Avoid external damage or strong acids and alkalis that may cause discoloration.
3. Fabric materials (ribbons, cotton, gauze) have a soft and comfortable texture and a long lifespan. Avoid high temperatures, external damage, or strong acids and alkalis that may cause discoloration.
4. For any jewelry, when it gets dirty, wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in clean water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of mild detergent for the appropriate material. After washing, dry it as soon as possible.
5. When jewelry is removed, it should be properly packaged and stored to block excess air and slow down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or heavy pressure.
