This item was created as a dedicated divination board for a Japanese interpretation of rice grain divination, which is popular in Taiwan (we refer to it as Kōkoku divination). When we say "Japanese style," Shinto comes to mind. It includes a mini torii gate and a space for sacred amulets. While amulets are not included, feel free to use one from your local shrine or any other amulet you wish. You are also welcome to use salt for purification or sake as you please. We've included containers, but you may substitute them with items of your choice. The methods for rice grain divination vary even within Taiwan. While there aren't many practitioners in Japan, their approaches likely differ as well.
