It is commonly used in rituals for purification and protection, while also helping to create a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. It can also be used to invoke love and attract positive energy, or simply burned to produce a pleasant fragrance. Shopkeeper's Note: When smelled directly, this variety does have a lavender scent, but it's different from the lavender commonly found in Taiwan. It lacks the intensely floral notes, with added hints of lemon and earthiness. When burned, the scent is quite unique and doesn't resemble lavender. Usage for Spaces: Light the bundle and hold it (or break it apart into loose leaves and place in an incense burner or censer). Move in a counter-clockwise direction around the space you wish to cleanse, such as your home, room, or office. Ensure the smoke reaches doorways, windows, dark corners, and closets to clear residual negative energy. Usage for Individuals: Light the bundle and hold it (or break it apart into loose leaves and place in an incense burner or censer). Hold it about 15cm away from your body and move along your silhouette (the smoke should lightly touch your body), including above your head, front, back, sides, and feet (lift your feet). When moving sideways, hold your hands out level, following your silhouette. Alternatively, place it in a heat-resistant container in any space and allow the smoke to naturally purify the area. Additionally, you can use a feather or fan to help disperse the smoke more quickly. All herbs can be used to cleanse spaces, homes, rooms, or any environment with stagnant or old energies, purifying the space with pure intention. It can also be used to clear a person's energy field, releasing them from old energies and preparing them for rituals or spiritual healing.
