Spanish Toledo Heritage: Dual 24K & 22K Gold Damascene Artistry" An authentic 1970s vintage square brooch crafted in Toledo, Spain, using the famed Damascening technique. As shown, pure 24K and 22K gold foils are meticulously hand-inlaid onto a hand-etched blackened steel base. The subtle contrast between the two gold karat tones brings to life a poetic scene of a bird in flight surrounded by delicate flowers, a butterfly, and intricate scrollwork. "Geometric Versatility & Excellent Archival Condition" As shown, the square plaque is held securely by gold-tone prongs, allowing it to be styled as a clean square or a dynamic diamond angle. The reverse features a rich, textured gold-tone backing with a smooth, fully functional safety C-clasp.
