Material Descriptions: The 14k gold-filled material predominantly used in the mixandfun design studio is created by plating a layer of 1/20 14k gold onto a brass base. This has become a popular choice in recent years due to its ease of care and maintenance, offering longer-lasting color at a more accessible price point compared to solid 14k gold. Solid 14k gold, on the other hand, is entirely crafted from 14k gold throughout, containing approximately 58.5% gold content, with the remainder being silver, iron, or copper. Given Taiwan's climate, this material is even easier to care for and presents a more refined color. Solid 14k gold is also a suitable option for those with sensitive skin. Specially plated alloy is another material we frequently use. mixandfun carefully selects unplated chains that we personally love and then specially electroplates them. Under normal wear conditions, the color can be expected to last longer. Wearing Precautions: 1. It is recommended to put on your accessories after dressing and remove them before changing into loungewear. Wearing them while bathing, hot spring soaking, or swimming is strongly discouraged. 2. For earrings, we suggest attaching the included silicone stoppers to reduce the chance of loss. 3. Taiwan's climate is hot and humid. If you plan to store your accessories for an extended period, gently wipe them with a soft cloth before placing them in a sealed bag. 4. For delicate chains, make it a habit to fasten the clasp when removing them to minimize tangling. 5. Simple Maintenance Tips: If you notice any oxidation on your jewelry one day, don't panic. You can fill a bowl with water, add a pinch of salt, and a small piece of aluminum foil.
