A Cross-Temporal Creation by the Potter and the User
The charm of crackled tea ware lies in its transcendence of time and space, becoming a collaborative work between the potter and its owner. Each crackle, each layer of color, is a shared journey between you and this vessel. As time passes, this piece will enrich itself with the moments of your life, evolving into a true work of art that embodies "beauty in use."
The creations from Yu-Yi Studio are for those who cherish details and value the quality of life, transforming the simple act of tea drinking into an extension of enjoyment and taste.

1. All products in this design hall are purely handmade, and each piece is unique, which is the very charm of pottery.
2. All works in this design hall are new pieces by Master Yu-Hua Yu, and each is one-of-a-kind. The design hall will update new works regularly. If you fall in love with a piece, please act quickly. Artist Introduction:
Artist: Master Yu-Hua Yu
Born in 1980, he was captivated by the mysterious art of the potter's wheel during junior high school, an experience that stayed with him. After completing his military service, he moved to Yingge alone and studied under Masters Kuo-Jung Wu and Chien-Tsai Wu, laying a solid foundation in wheel throwing and firing techniques. After establishing his studio, he dedicated himself to research and development. During this period, he received accolades such as the Gold Award for Cultural and Creative Design at the Taiwan Golden Teapot Award and an Excellence Award from the Tainan Craft and Cultural Promotion Association. He is currently a contemporary young Taiwanese ceramic artist.
Master Yu-Hua Yu has spent over two decades mastering the properties of various clays, integrating his creative vision to blend tradition with modernity. He has developed series such as the "Iridescent Shino," "Rock Mineral," and "Purple Clay Cloud Smoke" ceramic works. Furthermore, Master Yu has successfully recreated the firing techniques of Song Dynasty celadon! His crackled series imitates the traditional wood-firing techniques of the Song Dynasty, firing for five days and four nights continuously at temperatures above 1260°C. After the ash forms, it naturally settles, creating the "crackled" Song Dynasty celadon, which is truly astonishing.
