This five-pen capacity fountain pen case is made using Italian leather and the hand-stitching technique known as "komawase-nui," which cannot be replicated by machine. The case is constructed by sewing leather pieces together at right angles, creating a unique shape characteristic of the komawase-nui method. Pens are secured in place by their clips. While designed for fountain pens with thicker barrels, it is also suitable for slimmer ballpoint pens or pencils, allowing you to carry your favorite writing instruments. The interior features suede dividers to prevent pens from scratching against each other. As they are vegetable-tanned leathers, please also note that their colors will change over time (especially noticeable with Pueblo). Vegetable tanning preserves the natural character of the leather. The transparent dyeing process may reveal natural markings such as "tra" (grain patterns) and "blood lines," which are evidence of the animal's life. These are all considered part of the leather's inherent charm and texture. Due to the aniline dyeing process, color variations may occur between batches and differ from the color samples. As is natural with genuine leather, there may be slight color inconsistencies, grain patterns, or minor scratches. These are considered characteristic features of the leather.
