JUPITER-11 is a long focus coated lens for old Soviet Zenit, Kristall and Start SLR cameras. It was introduced after JUPITER-11 designed for LTM RF cameras, but latest JUPITER-11 lenses had significant external divergences.
First 35mm Russian lenses for RF cameras (known as BK and ZK lenses) were created at KMZ plant on the base of of Zeiss and Leica equipment, which was imported to the USSR for production towards reparations after WW2.
All the Soviet plants which issued photo equipment (include famous KMZ, LOMO and Litkarino plants) mostly issued military equipment, and little part only were for civil purposes, and those civil goods had enough high quality to receive World glory for best ratio price/quality.
Being a direct copy of the Carl Zeiss Sonnar 135mm f:4.0 lens, this can't be bad!
In the main, most all Soviet lenses are exceptionally good and this one is no exception!

Cosmetically the lens looks fine, just examine item's photos, please.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
* Focus 135 mm.
* Angle of view 18 degrees.
* Relative aperture 1:4 (up to 1:22, with clicks).
* Coated optics without Russian red symbol "n" (it sounds like P=prosvetlenije, this symbol was removed since beginning of 1960s, when all Russian optics became coated).
* Mounting: M39 x 1mm groove, it can be mounted to other SLR cameras made abroad in 50-60 years.
* Optical registration 44.24mm It still 39 mm mount, but the optical registration is different from the Leica type (LTM) lenses for rangefinder cameras.
* Very simple M39/M42 adapter allows mounting to M42 x 1mm groove, known as Pentax Thread Mount, same with a lot of old SLR cameras (Practica, Chinon, Yashika, Bessaflex etc). In turn, mounting for modern SLR & dSLR cameras will not bring any trouble with well-spread M42 adapters. Thus you will look for two adapters, or may be even you'll find direct M39 adapter for your camera.
* Resolution (pairs of lines per 1 mm): not less than 34 lines on the center and 19 on the edge of frame.
* Focusing from 2 m.
* Filter mount M 40.5 x 0.5 mm.
* Made at Krasnogorsky Optical and Mechanical Factory (KMZ) in 1962.
* Case of the lens is coated by chrome.
* Pretty in using.
We are more than happy to welcome any international bidders!!!
