The craftsman's skilled hands have meticulously arranged cloisonné to depict butterflies playfully amidst flowers on this small box. Having weathered a century, there are minor areas of enamel loss. About the Cloisonné in this Shop: Most of my cloisonné pieces are early acquisitions, possessing a warm luster (not the sharp, bright sheen of new items). During the firing process after enamel filling, pinholes, slight chips, or marks from hand-polishing may occur. This is part of the charm of handmade items. As these are early collectibles, they will bear historical traces, which I do not deliberately clean to preserve their antique character. Buyers may choose to clean them further after purchase.
