Do not burn candles made of wax for more than 2 hours, the aroma may become weaker if the candle burns for a long time. Place the candle on a heat-resistant surface and avoid drafts. Do not burn near flammable or combustible objects. Always burn within sight and extinguish before leaving the premises. Keep away from children and pets. Always allow the wax to cool and harden before re-igniting, touching or moving. Always trim cotton wicks to about 1/4 inch (0.5-0.6cm) before re-igniting. Wooden wicks should be short. Trim the wick to 1/8" - 3/16" before each candle lighting. It is best to trim the wick with a wick trimmer. If the flame rises above 1 inch or black smoke comes out, extinguish the flame, level the wick and relight.
