Chunky Antique Uranium Glass with Abundant Amethyst & Green Agate, Mother-of-Pearl Blossoms, and Antique Bohemian Beads Earrings

These earrings are crafted by linking chunky antique uranium glass with abundant amethyst and green agate, mother-of-pearl blossoms, and antique Bohemian beads. The plump, lemon-yellow beads get their color from a very small amount of uranium. They glow under blacklight! These are Bohemian beads, also known as Vaseline glass (early 20th century). As they are vintage items, they bear some scratches, but these marks become endearing when one considers their age. This is a uniquely shaped piece of uranium glass. (Uranium glass size: 1.2cm tall, 1.3cm wide) We have adorned them with perfectly round green agate and faceted amethyst, like ripe fruit. Small, 3 and 4-petal blossoms made of mother-of-pearl are paired with these. They are carved into a plump shape. These beads possess a unique luster and a warm, lovely charm characteristic of shell. The small blossoms are sandwiched between tiny Karen silver beads with 18k gold plating. The abacus-shaped beads with incised lines are antique Bohemian beads from the same era as the uranium glass, the 20th century. Though small, they are lustrous beads that allow you to appreciate the beauty of glass beads. These earrings evoke the image of blossoms illuminated by moonlight.
