About Santalol:
I often encounter many customers asking about the age of the trees. Perhaps other brands use this as a claim, but fundamentally, the most important thing about sandalwood essential oil is the content of α-santalol and β-santalol, because these are the source of the greatest efficacy of sandalwood essential oil.
East Indian sandalwood is currently the most expensive and difficult to obtain essential oil, but due to conservation reasons, India has restrictions on exports, so alternative sandalwoods include sandalwood essential oils from Australia, Hawaii, New Caledonia, etc.
The content of santalol in East Indian sandalwood can reach 70%~90%, Australian sandalwood is about 20%~40%, and Hawaiian sandalwood is about 40%~55%. From the GCMS table, the content of α-santalol in organic certified New Caledonia sandalwood is 45.81%, and β-santalol is 18.14%, totaling 63.95%.
Regular New Caledonian sandalwood contains 47.66% alpha santalol and 19.37% beta santalol, totaling 67.03%. New Caledonian sandalwood essential oil is the closest variety to East Indian sandalwood. In terms of smell, alpha santalol has a slight woody scent, while beta santalol is responsible for the typical warm woody, frankincense, musk, urine and animal scent of sandalwood.

✔What is massage oil?
Massage and application are the process of essential oils being absorbed through the pores (also known as sebaceous pores) into the microvessels of the epidermis, and then being sent deep into the skin tissue, reaching the body's blood circulation and lymphatic circulation, and finally being transported to the target organs. This process only takes about 20 minutes to absorb the essence of the plant into the organs of the whole body. After the essential oils reach the organs, they will stay in the organs and work for 6 to 8 hours.
