Night on the Galactic Railroad_2: A Handwoven Reading Reflection Long Wool Stole

This is the second piece inspired by Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tale, "Night on the Galactic Railroad." The "Mindscape Sketch Series" handwoven using "Saori weaving" techniques, bringing Kenji Miyazawa's world to life. These are "handwoven reading reflections" designed for everyday enjoyment. Dimensions: Approximately 38cm in width, with a total length of 206cm (including 8cm fringe on each end). Weight: 216g. As before, we've primarily used Merino wool, complemented by high-quality cashmere and mohair. This luxurious blend, despite its length, results in a delightfully light finish of just 216g. With the addition of warp threads, we've incorporated over 40 different types of yarn. Woven to reveal various expressions depending on how it's styled, this piece is unique due to the custom blending of colors from multiple yarns. After weaving, it is carefully washed to felt the fibers, remove any impurities, and enhance its texture, before being finished with a gentle ironing. Due to the variety of yarns used, the shrinkage rate may vary slightly across different areas. Gently swish or press wash in water or lukewarm water (0-30°C) mixed with a neutral detergent (like Acron or Emal, detergents for delicate clothing), ensuring the detergent is well dissolved. Rinse gently twice, press out excess water with a towel, reshape, and dry in the shade (the entire process takes about 2-3 minutes).
