Measurement methods vary across design studios, and factors like the number of embellishments, clasp type (e.g., toggle, elastic, or with an extension chain), and how the jewelry is worn all affect size calculations. We kindly ask you to remeasure your wrist using the following method and provide us with your measured circumference in centimeters, along with your preferred allowance for looseness. __※ If this is a gift and you cannot ascertain the size, or if you require a size not listed in the options, please contact the designer before placing your order.__ __**How to Measure Your Wrist Circumference:**__ 1. Within this design studio, sizes are measured by circumference. You can use a flexible measuring tape to circle your wrist. If you don't have a measuring tape, you can substitute it with a strip of paper approximately 1.5cm wide. Circle your wrist with the paper strip, then measure the length with a ruler. 2. Please do not use thread or string to measure. These materials are too thin and soft, which can lead to measuring a smaller size than your actual wrist. 3. When measuring, start from the 0cm mark. Gently lay the measuring tool flat against your wrist; do not pull it too tight or leave it too loose. 4. Place the measuring tool flat against the back of your wrist, just below the wrist bone (the prominent part), to determine your wrist circumference. 5. Add your preferred allowance for looseness, typically 1-2cm. Based on this method: - Allowance of 1cm: A closer fit, but may be difficult to clasp yourself. - Allowance of 1.5cm: A moderate fit, with about the width of a small finger space inside the bracelet. - Allowance of 2cm: A looser fit, with the bracelet moving as your hand swings. ※ We recommend an allowance of at least 1.5cm for ease of self-fastening. 6. You can gently move the measuring tape or paper strip around your wrist to check for looseness or tightness. The measurement should be taken when your hand is naturally hanging, ensuring the tape won't slip off your wrist. 7. We will craft the item based on the measurements you provide. The total length of the finished product is calculated from the opening of the clasp to the very end of the connector clasp. __**E.g.: If your wrist circumference measured using the method above is 14cm + a desired allowance of 1.5cm = 15.5cm, you would select the custom size: Total length from clasp opening to the end of the connector clasp: 15.5cm. To prevent excessive wear and irreversible damage, avoid wearing the jewelry while bathing, exercising, or visiting hot springs, and minimize contact with the aforementioned chemicals. The extent of oxidation depends on individual wear habits. Proper care can significantly extend the jewelry's lustrous finish. If you habitually wear jewelry while bathing, do not clean it regularly, or frequently expose it to chemicals, the oxidation process will accelerate. The rate of oxidation varies from person to person. It is important to clean and maintain the jewelry before it becomes significantly oxidized or black. ‧ Fading and oxidation on plated alloy materials due to prolonged wear cannot be restored. It is recommended to minimize contact with water and chemical substances. ‧ We suggest owning multiple pieces of jewelry to match different outfits, which can also extend the lifespan of each item.
