Sea pottery, rounded by the waves over many years and washed ashore.
The left piece features square blue dots on a white background, while the right piece has a calm blue stripe pattern on white.
One of the charms of pottery is that the position of a crack can reveal a clear pattern, or invite speculation about what the original design was, or where it might have been used.
These have been mended with beautifully translucent yellow citrine using the kintsugi technique ☆彡.。
The elegant gold lines of the kintsugi are exquisite.
・Citrine... Known as a stone that attracts financial and material luck, it has long been cherished as a lucky stone bringing prosperity and wealth. It is also the birthstone for November.
Many people imagine pottery to be heavy, but these are very light to wear, weighing approximately 1g per ear (excluding the metal fittings).
The stress-free comfort of wearing them is a delightful feature.
As each piece is unique, they make the perfect reward for yourself, for those who want to stand out from the crowd, or as a gift for someone special...♪*゚
With a timeless design and subdued colors, they can be worn by people of all ages.
・Perfect for everyday wear with T-shirts, or for a more elegant look with blouses, shirts, jackets, or dresses in spring and summer. In autumn and winter, they complement cardigans, knits, turtlenecks, and sweaters. They pair well with both pants and skirts...♪*゚
・Also suitable for special ceremonies such as Coming-of-Age ceremonies, entrance ceremonies, graduation ceremonies, Shichi-Go-San, weddings, pre-wedding photoshoots, first shrine visits, and Okuizome...◎
・Ideal as presents or gifts for birthdays, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, job celebrations, Coming-of-Age celebrations, or baby showers...◎
・Their Japanese modern aesthetic makes them a perfect match for yukata outfits at summer festivals and fireworks displays, as well as other traditional Japanese attire...◎
※Kintsugi (or Kintsukuroi) is a traditional Japanese repair method that uses lacquer and gold powder to mend broken or chipped pottery. These are made using a simplified kintsugi technique, employing a hypoallergenic new lacquer (shin-urushi) and gold powder (brass powder) instead of traditional urushi lacquer derived from tree sap. UV resin is also used for reinforcement.

〈About the Artwork〉
※The metal fittings and the base of the kintsugi repair are reinforced with UV resin. Please understand that there may be slight resin overflow.
※Depending on the artwork (e.g., translucent sea glass or natural stones), the metal fittings may be changed to silver. Please be assured that the material will remain the same.
※Kintsugi... is a traditional Japanese technique that revives damaged pottery, such as chips, cracks, or breaks, using lacquer and gold powder to create a more beautiful finish.
※We use hypoallergenic new lacquer (shin-urushi) and gold powder (brass powder), not traditional urushi lacquer.
※As natural stones are natural, they may contain impurities, fine scratches, or small chips. Please understand that these are natural variations.
※We hope you will understand that variations in glaze are characteristic of handmade items. In particular, the sides of Mino ware tiles often have such variations.
※Individual differences exist regarding allergies to metals, resin, and lacquer. If you experience any skin irritation, please discontinue use and consult a dermatologist. We are not responsible for any injuries or allergic reactions caused by the product.
※The actual color may vary slightly from the product image depending on your monitor, brightness, and screen environment.
〈Care Instructions〉
※Please handle gently, as applying strong force may cause damage.
※Be careful not to rub the kintsugi parts strongly or soak them in water for extended periods, as this may cause them to detach. When cleaning, gently wipe away dirt with a soft cloth.
※Store away from high temperatures, high humidity, and direct sunlight.
