This page features the "Cai Zong" (a zongzi with only peanuts), a smaller version of the zongzi.
1:6 scale, suitable for 6-point dolls.
Under construction, more photos to follow.
Receive an extra zongzi leaf for decorative purposes with purchase of the ornament-only version. A corresponding length of embroidery thread will also be included.
This year's zongzi leaves are thinner than last year's, making them easier to wrap the zongzi and more fun for photos!
The technique used for the leaf veins this year enhances their appearance (using the same material as our current wrapped zongzi). We've also improved water resistance by adding a layer of waterproof paint to the underside of the leaf.
As this item is entirely handmade, the yellow brush strokes on the underside of the leaf are normal.

🥜 Cai Zong (Peanut Zongzi) - Vegetarian Zongzi:
A classic peanut zongzi, containing dozens of homemade peanuts scattered randomly within.
Enhanced in 2026 for a more realistic, sticky-rice visual appeal, but rest assured, it will not feel sticky to the touch!
With its unique new texture, it also boasts improved water resistance.
This piece has a very long drying time.
Once sold out, new production will be scheduled. Status updates will be posted on Instagram or Facebook.

If you wish to mix and match with other items, please specify your desired combination in the notes.
Please double-check the sizing for compatibility.
- Estimated Production Time:
While items can be made concurrently, here are individual production times for your reference. Large batch production will be faster.
Common Processes: Clay preparation (mixing, creating special clay, resting clay, etc. - if using single clay, only resting clay is needed) → Coloring → Shaping → Drying and hardening → Texture creation or coloring → Applying protective varnish and waiting for drying.
The following times are estimates assuming all the above processes are completed:
Peanut Zongzi: Approximately 3 days
Pork Zongzi: Approximately 10 days
Egg Yolk: Approximately 3 days
Shiitake Mushroom: Approximately 7 days
Plain Rice Zongzi: Approximately 10 days
Zongzi Leaf: Approximately 10 days
As mentioned, if a certain production volume is met, these can be calculated together, potentially shortening the overall time (e.g., simultaneous drying).
However, the timeline will still need to be estimated based on the production volume.
* Basic metal parts are made of general alloy.
Please be mindful of moisture. When not in use, store the metal components in a ziplock bag or a dehumidified container (the product itself requires ventilation).
Alternatively, consider upgrading to gold-plated K gold ear hooks for better resistance to discoloration.
- Care Instructions:
Avoid prolonged immersion in water. Gently brush off dust with a soft brush.
The alloy parts do not rust but require protection from moisture to prevent discoloration.
Store in a dry, cool place when not in use.
- Packaging:
Includes a handwritten earring backing card.
A self-sealing bag.
A care card included with the order.
A small gift.
Water-resistant, but please do not soak in water for extended periods. If splashed, gently pat dry immediately with a paper towel.
As this is entirely handmade, the production environment is not a dust-free space.
