☁️PENNANT COLLECTION I'd like what I make to mean something rather than just being pretty. Pennants are traditional flags representing an organization which usually also imply a sense of congratulation, gratitude and appreciation. This is where the idea of this pennant collection came from, to originally present the beauty and the cultural & historical significance on an object, to allow appreciation while letting it be an item that can decorate a home, or a place of belonging. Here it is one of the many Liberty fabric prints. Known to many living in the U.K., Liberty is a London department store found in 1875 in a Graded-II Listed Heritage Mock-Tudor architecture. It used to sell ornaments, fabrics and art from Japan and the East while later they worked closely with a lot of artists of the Art & Craft Movement and Art Nouveau, building up their own line of printed fabrics. The brand symbolized the valuing of artisanship and craftsmanship while their fabric collection is still occupying a massive department in their store up till today. Liberty is always one of my favorite spots in U.K. and their effort in cultural conservation inspired me a lot. •Fabric: Made-in-U.K. Liberty corduroy floral print, 100% cotton •100% cotton hanging string •Purple tassels •Measurement: 16cm wide x 22.5cm high (excluding the hanging string) 🫧Please handwash: Remember to remove the wooden stick before washing.
