A black and white, monochrome accessory.
This is a necklace featuring small, black onyx beads alongside white freshwater pearls.
Pure gold powder is delicately applied between the two beads for a refined finish. After the gold powder application, the piece is polished using a special tool made from natural stone (an agate spatula) to achieve an elegant texture.
A small black accent sits just below and to the side of the approximately 8mm pearl.
While simple, its slightly unusual design is sure to spark curiosity, prompting people to ask, "What is that?"
Matching earrings are also available in the same design.
~~About Kojima Crafts' "Kintsugi Pearls"~~
"Kintsugi" is a traditional Japanese technique used to repair broken or chipped ceramics with lacquer, accentuating the repair with gold powder. Inspired by this art form, we began creating "Kintsugi Pearls," a combination of pearl and pearl. (*Please note: This product uses cashew coating instead of lacquer, so there is no risk of lacquer allergies.*)
