This book box is made from Japanese cypress.
We use natural beeswax and paint the piece with a rustic look that brings out the wood grain, so that it will fit in well in an adult's study.
A thick brass nameplate adds an accent.
We've improved it by making it 2cm deeper than before so that it can accommodate larger magazines.
In addition, the sides are made of 4mm thick hinoki plywood, giving it a more sturdy and heavy feel.
