[Concrete Jungle] Postcards

Concrete Jungle In the dense concrete maze, where even a place to stand is hard to find, tiny specks of green miraculously take root and grow. Trees growing in city crevices, though confined by spatial limitations, carve out their own sky. Towering trees, disproportionate to their surroundings, offer a canopy of green amidst the buildings; some trees defiantly grow in front of homes, allowing residents to view the world through a leafy veil for half their lives. Such magical presences inspire urban dwellers to imagine if parting the lush branches might reveal a utopia. But if we release the need to search, and instead gently embrace ourselves, appreciating the beauty of the present moment, a sweet life unfolds instantly.
