The entire cup is fired with a matte glaze, giving it a rustic texture, and then hand-painted along the carved lines and fired again. All stages of creation, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are meticulously done by hand in my home studio, which is equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. To address this, all our ceramic items undergo a waterproofing treatment using a food-safe sealant before shipping, eliminating the need for initial conditioning (me-dama). This treatment requires 2-3 days to complete, which is why we allocate 5 days between order placement and shipment. If you prefer not to have this treatment applied, please inform us at the time of purchase. - The color of the glaze can appear more white under natural daylight or white lighting, and exhibit warmer red or yellow tones under evening light or warmer ambient lighting. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - While we strive to capture the most accurate representation of the product in our photos and edits, please be aware that colors may appear differently depending on your monitor settings and ambient light conditions. - As this item is also sold on other platforms, in the rare event of overlapping purchases, priority will be given to the customer who completes the purchase process first.
