The white appearance of the petals is caused by light scattering due to air bubbles in the cells. When the petals get wet from rain or dew, water fills the cells, allowing light to pass through instead of scattering, which makes the petals incredibly transparent. This magical transformation earned it the name "Skeleton Flower." The flower's language includes "Affection" and "Purity" for its white form, while its transparent state symbolizes "Happiness" and "Freedom."
