Sankayo is a plant native to Japan that blooms with small white flowers from May to July and grows mainly in mountainous areas such as Hokkaido, Nagano, and Gunma. The white petals of the wild lotus flower do not appear white due to white pigments, but due to the scattering of light by bubbles in the cells. When water from rain or dew gets into these cells, the light passes through without being scattered, and the petals become transparent. It is also known as the "skeleton flower" because the flower lover become transparent when wet. The flower lover of the mountain lotus includes "affection" and "pure person" due to its clean, small white flowers, and "happiness" and "free-spirited" because the white flower lover become a rare transparent flower lover when wet. I came up with the idea of making an accessory out of this mountain lotus leaf, which turns into a transparent flower lover when wet. I attached three crystal drop beads that look like raindrops falling on a Silver chain, and three mountain lotus leaves created using dip art to create wet, transparent flower lover.
