The Old Rock Mud series undergoes multiple high-temperature oxidization and reduction firings, imbuing the clay body with a natural, warm, and textured finish. It also yields unexpected results when enjoying water, wine, or coffee. Old Rock Mud Material Beneath its simple and approachable exterior lies a texture of infinite variation. Under high-temperature quenching, the color presents a rustic charm from the kiln's transformation, appearing robust and unadorned, subtly revealing the marks left by the artisan's hands. Rich in mineral content, this quartz earthenware, fired through high-temperature oxidation and reduction, possesses an activated charcoal-like structure similar to Maifan stone, resulting in smoother water quality and an exceptionally mellow and sweet tasting experience. The granular texture of the clay body dissipates heat slowly, offering superior heat retention compared to standard pottery and porcelain.
