How did the name "Milkfish" come about? You might not know! Some say it originates from the Siraya word "Masamot."
Others say when Koxinga landed at Lu'ermen, local fishermen offered him this fish. Koxinga asked, "What fish?" (pronounced 'si-m-hî' in local dialect), and the fishermen thought he was naming it. Over time, it became known as "Milkfish" (Shi-mu-yu).
Every part of this fish, from head to tail, inside and out, is incredibly valuable!
This keychain charm is perfectly sized to clip onto bag zippers. It's healing for the soul and quite stress-relieving to squeeze. It's a delightful choice for gift exchanges or holiday gifting.
