However, after experimentation, we found that embroidery tightened the fabric too much, making it impossible to achieve the desired fullness. So, we shifted to a hollowed-out design, which unexpectedly brought a unique charm. This approach effectively captures the depth and layered texture of the morel's surface. The base was initially intended to be padded. But we were committed to a two-piece fabric construction, sewn together, to faithfully replicate the natural form of the morel.
