"Magazine Rondo," the comic and illustration collection by illustrator Hiromi Matsuo released in December 2022, was conceived with the premise of a women's magazine called "RONDO," celebrating its 100th anniversary. To commemorate this centenary, a collaboration between the women's magazine "RONDO" and ARAMA TOKYO has been realized! The design beautifully captures the memorable cover of "Magazine Rondo," with its cover illustration that evokes a sense of nostalgia and an undeniable charm, all translated onto a single scarf. The collection also includes a story featuring Riko, the cover model, as the protagonist. As Mr. Hiromi Matsuo kindly provided the line art and coloring, we were able to faithfully reproduce his signature brushstrokes and beautiful, antique color palette on a silk scarf.
