Developed from coffee-themed prints created three to four years ago, this design made its debut on stationery.
Why the word "Confessions"? It stems from my habit of confiding in others at coffee shops. Amidst the gentle hum of conversations, I find myself sharing my innermost thoughts. In public spaces, over a cup of coffee, it feels more natural to express my ideas than when I'm alone. Even if tears unexpectedly fall, drawing a little attention, wiping them away afterward brings a sense of release.
Chatting with friends about everyday happenings, both ordinary and extraordinary, taking a sip of coffee between stories... those moments often feel like supporting roles. The key is usually just to lower my voice a bit more.
Ordering a coffee (perhaps another) and sipping it slowly, notebook and large bag in hand, I write, I ponder.
At these times, the words spoken are to myself, much like a confession or introspection. After sorting through my thoughts, I look up, and the coffee shop scene takes on a different hue.
Meetings and work sessions are held here, with personal reflections interspersed with professional discussions, bridging the gap and softening the weight of work. The coffee at these moments carries a unique flavor. From the initial drink order to the sips taken throughout, these are moments filled with subtle, unspoken currents.
